The RadiusPilot API lets your own code do what a scan does in the app: list an area’s businesses with their opportunity scores, check a website, and draft emails and reports with RadiusPilot AI. It answers in JSON at https://radiuspilot.com/api/v1/.

Get a key

  1. Join the beta

Request access on the beta page. An accepted request comes with a beta code.

  2. Create a key

Sign in to your account on this website, open API and choose Create key. Name it, and paste your beta code the first time.

  3. Copy it

It starts with rp_live_ and is shown once: we keep only a hash of it and its first 12 characters. Keep it in your server’s secrets, never in a web page.

  4. Revoke it when you need to

From the same page. It stops working at once.

What it costs

RequestCredits
GET /v1/account: the key and its balance0
POST /v1/businesses/search: businesses in an area, scored10
POST /v1/sites/check: check a website1
POST /v1/ai/write: draft an email or a message1
POST /v1/ai/report: write a report3

A request that fails gives its credits back. Without enough credits, a request answers 402 not_enough_credits and spends nothing. Payments aren’t live yet, so more credits can’t be bought for the API yet.

Limits

30 requests a minute and 1,000 a day per key, plus RadiusPilot AI’s own daily limits on our server. Past a limit, the API answers 429 or 503, and you try again later.

What it never returns

  • Google data: Google’s terms don’t allow passing it on, so Verify listing stays in the app
  • Email addresses: collecting them in bulk with software goes against Canada’s anti-spam and privacy laws
  • Ratings, reviews or rankings: public listings don’t have them, and RadiusPilot never makes them up

Using what it returns

  • Business data comes with an attribution field: the data’s licence asks you to show it wherever you show the data. The Developers page has the exact line
  • A draft from ai/write is a draft. Add your business name, your postal address and a way to unsubscribe, and email only where you have consent. See Email rules
  • Don’t resell the data as it comes, or use the API to collect contacts: see the terms
