Agreeing to these terms
By using this website, your account on it or the RadiusPilot app, you agree to these terms. If you use RadiusPilot for a business, you agree on its behalf. RadiusPilot is published by the legal name of the business.
What RadiusPilot is
RadiusPilot is an app for Windows, also offered as a web app in your browser, that finds local businesses, checks their websites, scores them and helps you contact them. It’s being prepared for its first release, and features may change.
The live demo on this website and its pictures show invented businesses. They aren’t information about real businesses.
Your accounts
The account in the app lives on your computer, or in your browser for the web app. Keep your password, your backup codes and your Windows account secure.
For your account on this website, use your own email address, keep your password and your authenticator app secure, and don’t share your sign-in. You can delete it at any time from its Settings.
You’re responsible for what is done with your accounts. We may suspend or close a website account that breaks these terms.
Plans, credits and payments
Payments aren’t live. Choosing a plan or buying credits in the app today is simulated and charges nothing. Prices shown may change. Before paid plans and paid credits open, these terms will say how billing, renewals, cancellations and refunds work.
Credits count the use of what costs RadiusPilot money each time it runs: Verify listing, RadiusPilot AI, scans past your plan’s and the API. They aren’t money, and they can’t be exchanged for cash. Your plan’s credits renew on its renewal date and don’t roll over; credits bought later will last 12 months. An action that fails because of us gives its credits back. Nothing is ever charged automatically when credits run out.
The RadiusPilot API (beta)
The API is in beta, open to accepted beta testers, and it may change or stop during the beta. Each accepted account gets 50 credits to try it, once. Keep your keys secret: what is done with a key of yours counts as done by you. Revoke a key that may have leaked.
When you use the API, you agree to:
- Not use it to collect email addresses or other contact details in bulk, or to build profiles of people
- Not resell or republish the data it returns as a data set of its own
- Keep the data licence’s credit, the
attributionfield, wherever you show business data from it - Follow anti-spam law in any message you send from a draft it wrote: consent, your postal address and a way to unsubscribe
- Stay within its limits, and not get around them with more keys or accounts
We may limit, suspend or revoke a key that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk.
Using RadiusPilot fairly
You agree to:
- Follow the anti-spam and privacy laws that apply to your messages, such as CASL in Canada and CAN-SPAM in the United States
- Honour every opt-out, and respect any “do not solicit” statement a business publishes
- Not use RadiusPilot to collect email addresses in bulk, to guess addresses, or to build profiles of people
- Not use RadiusPilot to harass anyone, or to send misleading messages
- Not try to get around the app’s limits, such as the daily sending limit or the opt-out list
- Not try to get into other people’s accounts, or to get around this website’s bot check or rate limits
Other people’s data and services
Business listings in real scans come from Google Places, under Google Maps’ terms: keep Google’s attribution next to its data, and the API gives it in its attribution field. Listings from older scans may come from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the Open Database License: if you share that data, keep its credit. The tools use Google PageSpeed, public DNS services and the Internet Archive, under their own terms. RadiusPilot AI runs through our server, with the AI provider named in the privacy policy; it uses credits, and its daily limits can change during the beta. If you set up your own AI, it runs on your own OpenAI or ChatGPT account, under OpenAI’s terms.
Drafts and generated content
Websites, decks, reports and emails drafted by the app, including text written by AI, are starting points. Read and check them before you send or publish them. You’re responsible for what you send.
Ownership
The app, this website and the RadiusPilot name and mark belong to the legal name of the business. What you create with the app is yours.
No warranty
RadiusPilot is provided as it is, without any warranty that it will be free of errors or always available. Scores and checks are based on the data found and can be wrong. Limitation of liability, to be written with a lawyer.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of province or state, and country.
