RadiusPilot sends from your own mailbox. Replies come back to you, and your provider’s rules apply. Real mail works in the Windows app once you connect. Until then, and in the web app, RadiusPilot doesn’t send by itself: Open in Gmail (or Outlook, or your mail app) opens the email ready to send, personalised and with its footer, or save it as a draft, or Copy it. In the live demo, sends to its invented addresses are simulated.
Before you start
Most providers want an app password for apps like RadiusPilot, not your usual password. Gmail, iCloud, Yahoo and Fastmail do. Create one in your account’s security settings. The hint under App password says what your provider needs.
Connect
Open Settings, then Email
Or press Ctrl , and pick Email.
Choose your provider
Gmail, Outlook.com, Microsoft 365, iCloud Mail, Yahoo Mail, Zoho Mail or Fastmail. For any other, choose IMAP / SMTP.
Enter your details
Your email address, your name as people see it, and the app password.
Add the servers, for IMAP / SMTP
Open Server settings. Add the incoming and outgoing servers, their ports and the security: SSL/TLS or STARTTLS.
Click Connect
RadiusPilot signs in to check it works. Nothing is sent.
Your password
Windows encrypts it for your Windows account, and it stays on this computer, in RadiusPilot’s folder. It’s never written to a log. Disconnect removes the password, the settings and the cached mail. Your email stays with your provider.
How much to send
The daily limit counts people, not emails: one email to three people uses three. It starts at 50 a day. Set it from 10 to 200 in Settings › Email. New mailboxes do best starting around 30 to 50 people a day, then growing slowly.
One email goes to 50 people at most, To, Cc and Bcc together. The Windows app also refuses more than 200 people a day, whatever the setting.
Images in emails you receive
Images from other senders stay hidden until you click Show images, because loading them tells the sender you opened the email. Choose Always for a sender to show theirs every time. Links open in your browser, and only web, email and phone links open.
